So lets start with the basics. Elon Musk, billionaire and CEO of Tesla and many other companies bought twitter. There have been many people worried and scared for some reason about the buy out. Why though?
Lets start with a few reasons that I see:
- He just became one of the worlds leading social media influencers. He has the ability to influence people hundreds of different ways on who to vote for. He has marketing power now. He can sell stuff, millions of metric tons of stuff. There is potential for Elon to put a huge dent in the economy if he does something stupid or smart. I can see why people are afraid of that.
- He doesn’t care about censorship. He just recently reinstated Donald Trump’s account. People are melting down because of it and for me its hilarious. Ill say it, I’m a trump fan. If you have issues with that, they are of your own volition. He also reinstated Kayne West’s account as well. Both were banned. Trumps case was a issue of Insurrection. Kanye’s was for allegedly anti Semitic views. I don’t really care about either of these instances but it is a entertaining situation where there are probably over 10k people banned that he could bring back. If he does more then 10 though people wouldn’t care after that anyway so he has to pick and choose. Still, free marketing when the left melts down as they do.
- People are trying to claim Elon has the basis to start a monopoly. That is a ridiculous claim as there are thousands of social networks out. There is not anywhere close to a monopoly on the social networking side. However he would be closer to a monopoly on electric cars and charging stations, but nobody seems to be panicking on this front or even mentioning it.
- He shook up twitters staff, and caused many people to quit after the take over.
These are just a few of the mainstream meltdown situations people are having. Its just so ridiculous how people just can not just let people be free in what they say! There are just so many people bullying people now for ideals and beliefs and people terrified of other people that its just were getting more and more divided. These are topics for other articles though, so I won’t ramble.
I never really been interested in twitter or Elon. I just don’t really care, but if you watch youtube, eventually you will run across him or someone talking about him. Even reading blogs looking up political or economical articles some where will mention Musk, Tesla, SpaceX, or any one of his companies. Even ads will show you something from these companies.
Anyway I need to inform you all of changes to my site. I will from now on be writing on things from the controversial to gaming, to things I find interesting.
